Our services
Individual Therapy Sessions
One-on-one sessions provide personalized support in a safe, encouraging environment. Treatment goals may include communication, emotional expression, cognitive skills, physical rehabilitation, social development, stress reduction, or overall well-being.
Adaptive Music Lessons
For individuals with disabilities or unique learning needs who wish to develop musical skills, adaptive lessons combine individualized teaching strategies with therapeutic support to create a positive and successful learning experience.
Group Sessions
Group sessions foster connection, collaboration, and community through shared musical experiences. Participants work toward common therapeutic goals while building relationships, practicing social skills, and supporting one another.
Community Programs
Music therapy can enrich schools, senior living communities, hospitals, hospice programs, behavioral health settings, and community organizations through group sessions and in-services.
What Does a Music Therapy Session Look Like?
No two music therapy sessions look the same. Sessions last at a minimum of 30 minutes, with most ranging between 45 to 60 minutes. The Music Therapist will create a session using interventions tailored to the client’s goal and objectives. All interventions are based from the four modes of music therapy.
What are the Four Modes of Music Therapy?
Compositional:
The therapist and client work together to create original songs, write lyrics, or arrange musical pieces.
Improvisational
The client spontaneously creates music using their voice, body percussion, or instruments, without a preconceived plan.
Receptive
The client listens to provided music and responds physically, emotionally, or cognitively.
Recreative
The client reproduces pre-existing music by singing, playing an instrument, or moving to a rhythm.
